White Sands in Vada • Leghorn

Vada is a village situated on the Ligurian Sea in the municipality of Rosignano Marittimo in the province of Leghorn. Among the various attractions that characterize this area we have the White Sands that recall the most famous Tropical Beaches. The unusual color of the sand is due to the Solvay Industry that discharge into the sea the waste materials from the processing of limestone.

These large white and fine Sand Beaches create a crystalline sea and have been repeatedly awarded with the Blue Flag; they are frequented by tourists from all the world.
